Our story
Why we started
We started Local Egypt Travels to do one thing well: run trips in Egypt ourselves, rather than pass them down a chain of middlemen.
Everything you book with us is operated by our own team on the ground — the guide who meets you at Giza, the driver waiting at arrivals, the Nile boat, the restaurant table. That means we can answer a question in minutes, change a plan mid-trip, and take responsibility when something needs fixing.

You tell us the dates, the people and what you actually want from the trip. We ask the awkward questions early — pace, budget, what you would rather skip.
We build the route
A written itinerary with real timings, honest travel times and hotel options at more than one level, so you can see what you are choosing between.
We agree it properly
Nothing is booked until the itinerary and the price are both clear. Changes at this stage are normal and free.
We run it ourselves
Our own guides, drivers and coordinators operate the trip. One local number answers for the whole time you are here.
